Henning Arnecke
Born 1983 in Oelde, Germany, Henning Arnecke studied aerospace engineering in Aachen before moving to the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design. In July 2013, he graduated in Art History and Media Theory. During his studies he worked on exhibition projects, e.g. at the German Historical Museum in Berlin and the Staatliche Kunsthalle Karlsruhe. Besides, he worked as a freelance writer and lecturer. He was co-founder of doku|skopía, where he works as director for scientific documentaries. Since 2018, he is research assistant at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design, working in the project “Contemporary Aesthetics” (funded by the Volkswagen Foundation). His PhD-thesis has the working title: “Pictorial strategies in the publications on climate change and renewable energies by the climate movement and economic actors”.

Eduard Stürmer
Born 1987 in Tschkalowo, district Kokschetaw, in Kazakhstan. 1992 moved to Germany. From 2007 to 2015 Stürmer was a Student of Art Research and Media Philosophy, Communication Design and Media Art at the University of Arts and Design Karlsruhe. Some of his Professors were i.a. prof. dr. Daniel Hornuff, prof. dr. Wolfgang Ullrich, prof. Andrei Ujica, prof. Michael Bielicky, and prof. Thomas Heise. During this time he was a student assistant of documentary filmmaker and professor Thomas Heise. Federal Art Prize 2013 for “Detection” (Doc Film & Installation) in 21 Arts Competition of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Since 2013 he works as a freelance media artist (author, cinematographer, director, editor, producer).
